Eastern Elevators provide service lifts and platform hoists that meet Australian standards and suit your specific requirements. Our platform hoists, heavy-duty hoists and service lifts are suitable for commercial and residential transport needs.

Platform hoists

Platform hoists are the most economical solution for service between two levels, bypassing other floors if required. The well must be smooth and open on three sides to maintain a 25mm running clearance.

Being platform and back only, no car doors are required. Landing doors and frames (floor-serving only) are convenient full-height hinged solid core doors with pressed furniture steel frames – single or two-leaf depending on the width of opening. Stainless steel frames and door cladding with a 2-hour fire rating are available as a special.

Heavy-duty platform hoists
Eastern manufactures heavy-duty platform hoists driven by their unique patented drive system – a ball groove gothic form thread drive. The Eastern-developed drive boasts high mechanical efficiency requiring half the power of traction or chain drive machines for equivalent loads.
Load: 340 kg – 1.5 tonnes

Service lifts
Eastern service lifts are a conventional system for service to two or more levels, with flexibility of design in the machine location.

Our service lifts are stainless steel lined. Doors are pressed furniture steel vertical lift counterweighted doors. Stainless steel doors with a 2-hour fire rating are available as a special.

Application: Chain drive
Control: 'Call' and 'Send' hold-on button with 'Lift Arrived' lights on all levels. Specialised signal systems are also available.
